Courses: Diabetic Care and Foot Management in Rural Areas
Welcome
Welcome to the SEESHA / KARUNYA UNIVERSITY / CHRISTIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION OF INDIA / SLRTC KARIGIRI / NATIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT online course on Diabetic Care and Foot Management in rural Areas.
The aim is to empower and train the rural health care workers in remote areas so they are able to take comprehensive care of the Diabetics in the villages. They will receive extensive training in preventing foot ulcers and managing them when they develop so that amputations could be prevented in rural areas. They would be trained to work with nearby doctors to provide comprehensive care to the diabetic patients in their villages.
The course consists of the online component and several lectures and contact programs for practical training at the SEESHA Karunya community hospital and the various designated outstation clinics of SEESHA.
We would like to begin with sincerely thanking the organizations that are helping us.
